Happy Birthday my princess! I cannot believe a year has gone by already. I look back at this year with a mix of emotions. It was quite a life changing year!! No one could EVER describe to me how incredible becoming a parent is. Despite some challenging times you have made me happier than I could ever imagine. You have so much personality and hearing you laugh makes me happy no matter what mood I am in. Your strong personality is already starting to show and I can only imagine what it will be like in year number two. I am amazed each day as I watch you grow and learn new things. I love seeing the world through your eyes as I watch you discover new experiences. Already at a young age you are very determined and so curious. My hope for you is that you grow to be a strong, secure, loving, confident and most of all happy woman. I will try to keep from passing my insecurities and fears to you as you grow up. I will try and be the best mother to you and I will always be there for you. I want you to live life to its fullest and always keep that innocent joy and infectious smile of yours. You are my angel and I cannot imagine my life without you. I love you to the moon and back Charlotte. Looking forward to many new adventures in year number 2!!!!

This is the start of birthday week for Charlotte and she had her first celebration this past weekend in Maine with Grammy, Grampa, Meme, Aunt Kathy, Uncle Ronnie and Great Aunt Adrienne. She had a BLAST and got so many great things! She wasn't a huge fan of the cake though. She has this new thing, where she loves to carry things around while she walks, its hysterical. She will throw whatever it is over her shoulder, clothes, blankets, teddy bear, etc. She had so much fun with everyone, and was loving giving kisses and hugs to everyone, especially to Grampa!

Charlotte is officially walking. As of yesterday, she is all over the place with NO fear.

She has also learned to give kisses, open mouthed with tongue sticking out. It's really funny until she starts kissing her boy "friends". Cory is not very pleased. She is just a joy, with a very strong personality. She is finally drinking out of a sippy cup, although she doesn't like to hold it herself, she is very high maintenance!

Christmas was a little rough this year with Charlotte waking up Christmas morning with an ear infection. Even with a fever, she still had fun opening presents and playing with her new toys! We spent New Year's Eve at Charlotte's friends, Jane and Lily's house.

We had a great time, and the kids had fun playing together.

Desparately seeking more space!

Here is another video that we shot of Charlotte showing off her walking skills and her new favorite toy, the shopping cart that she got from Grammy and Grampy Perry! As you can see Charlotte is looking forward to Cory and I buying a house at some point so she will have more room to play.

Just had to post these pics of Charlotte in her cute new dress. Her favorite activity is playing in the cabinets, opening and shutting them over and over again. Tupperware, measuring cups and empty boxes are amongst her favorite toys these days!

Charlotte was 10 months on Wednesday. She has the best personality, must take after her dad! She is getting her top tooth and weighs 22lbs!
She is on the go, go, go. She really never slows down, she is a ton of fun!
We had a great Thanksgiving. Very busy, but really fun. We got to see a lot of friends and family which was nice. Charlotte was her usual rock star self. She had her BFF Ruby's first birthday party on Sat, which was madness.
Cory and his dad went to the Patriots game on Sun, while Grammy babysat Charlotte and Mommy got a much needed massage! Charlotte really enjoyed her time with Grammy and Granpa!

Today, Lily, Jane, Denise, Beth and Padraig came over to play. It was quite an exciting day for Charlotte! She had so much fun playing.
