Happy 6th year!

Dear Catherine Gracie,

Could you get any more sassier and smart!   You continue to make us laugh with your crazy, funny, dramatic personality.  At times you are so grown up beyond your age and other times you want to be a baby and want us to hold you.  I secretly love those times, when I get to hold you like that.   The things you are doing these days....reading chapter books like a pro, you have your teacher write down how many minutes a night you need to read, just like Charlotte.   When I try and have you read to me,  you say let's just read in our brains tonight, ok mommy.  The nights you do read to me, I just love to listen to you.  It amazes me how 2 months ago you were just doing sight words and all of a sudden you are full on reading chapter books.  Just like big sis.  You have your core group of friends still, Kate, Emma, Gabby, Maeve, Kelly, Neve, Ava and Juliette.  You still love your arts and crafts.  You are really, really good at Irish step.  You love gymnastics.  You have completely retired from soccer.
You can't wait to ski this year.  Not sure if its because you love to ski or because you get lots of candy!!

You have also taken up sewing!  You love it!  Your teacher is a contestant on Project Runway Junior!

The things you come out with sometimes we don't know where you get them from.  You still plan on marrying Tommy, although you two are on a "break" right now.  "Don't worry mommy we will get back together."   You drew a picture of Tommy and you at the park with your baby.
We are definitely in trouble with your sass.  You still don't understand the word no.  You think you can do whatever you want, when you want to.   You follow your own rules. You are still obsessed with watching shows.  You can barely make it through the school week with no tv!

You are such a shining star Gracie Bear, we love you so much.   Looking forward to seeing what happens in your 6th year.  Be happy always!

I love you a bushel and a peck!!
xo Mommy
