FLUFFY

Catherine got to bring their class mascot home for the weekend, Fluffy!  She loved having her at the house.  She brought Fluffy to the MudHouse, Target, for pizza, and to McKenna's where she got her picture with Mayor Walsh.  Nana had to perform surgery on Fluffy's arm, she is as good as new!

Smuggler's

We took the girls skiing again this weekend.  We rented a condo at Smuggler's Notch for 3 nights.  It was amazing.  The place was beautiful and they had so many amenities for the kids.  They swam in the outdoor heated pool which they thought was super cool.  They had a huge indoor rec center with mini golf, bouncy slides, arcades, etc.  They had an indoor splash area as well as ice skating, tubing and sledding.  So much for them to do we didn't get to do it all.  We spent from 9am-4pm skiing on Friday.  We stopped for 45 minute lunch and back at it.  They LOVED it and were bombing down the hill like pros.  They were both skiing through the woods on these paths with jumps.  It was crazy, Cory and I honestly had a hard time keeping up with them.  We put the girls in 2 hr ski lessons so the adults could ski alone.  Those 2 hours went by way too quickly!!  We only went for half a day on Saturday as they were tired.   The conditions were perfect.   Charlotte rode on the chairlift with her friend Kate.  I thought Cory was going to have a heart attack.  But they were great and so grown up.  We can't wait to go back next year.  It is the best family spot we have come across yet!

Snow was awesome!

Skate Date

We took the girls skating a few Sundays ago.  Charlotte got right back at it, no problem.  This was Catherine's 2nd time on the ice.  She didn't do well at all.  Cory and I pretty much held her hands the entire time.  She just couldn't get the hang of it.  Fast forward to this past Sunday.  Her boyfriend Tommy and sister Kelly met us there.  We got there first.  Catherine did slightly better than last time.  Tommy shows up and I am not even kidding, she took off with her crate and they just skated together.  It was unreal.  She was flying around the ice with him.  And Charlotte was like a teenager with her friend Sarah skating around.  Cory and I were not needed :(
Oh and a side note (I went upstairs to get changed before skate and I find Catherine upstairs in my bathroom putting make up on.")  We are in such trouble.
