Rain, rain go away...

They did not like sharing the stroller, lots of tears!

We woke up Sat morning to a rainy, yucky day. Poor Charlotte just stood at the window saying "go away rain, go away!" Charlotte does not like staying in the condo, she LOVES to be outside and playing at the park, which we do most everyday. To get her and us through the day, we had some of her friends over. In the morning, her little buddy Conner came over and after naps her twin buddies Maeve and Liam came over. They really play so well together and got into all sorts of trouble and mischief. Our place was a disaster when they left. But she had so much fun and we all managed to survive a rainy day in the condo! Just a preview of this brutal winter ahead! (and we'll have a new baby to add to the mix, fun fun!)

Halloween FuN!

Charlotte had a blast on Halloween with her friend Will, although she refused to wear the pig hat. Will's cousin Molly was there, she is 7 months and Charlotte was enthralled by her.

almost 33 weeks and Charlotte's 20 month stats

Charlotte had a dr's appt last week and her stats were 29lbs 16oz and 34 1/2 inches, consistant in the 90th+ percentile. She is as strong willed as ever and everything is "I do". Ms. Independent, wants no help with anything. A few weeks ago I was in the other room and she was awfully quiet, which is never a good sign, and I go in our bedroom and she had gotten my lotion and put the "pretty" all over herself.
She is warming up to the baby, although she really has no clue that her world is going to be turned upside down. She is still a daddy's girl and wants nothing to do with me when Cory is around.
I will be 33 weeks this coming week and am feeling great, despite my third cold in about 6 weeks. I am having such a wonderful pregnancy again, I am so lucky, I hope the last weeks are just as smooth.

We had a fun filled, busy weekend in Maine. Cory golfed with Andy on Fri while I hung out with Andy's wife Anne and their kids, Cayden and Sophie. Charlotte had a blast running around the HUGE yard they have and playing with all the fun toys.

Saturday we headed to Cory's parents for the night. My friend Sarah's in-laws live 5 minutes down the road from Cory, and they happened to be up in Maine over the weekend, so we got to visit with them. We also got to see Cory's neighbors The Haywards and the new addition to their family, Samantha. Charlotte was intrigued by the baby and was just mesmerized watching her. She had fun running around with Samantha's big sister Abby while the adults got to visit. Cory and I had some nice time off and were able to go out to dinner and breakfast, such a treat! Charlotte enjoyed her alone time being spoiled by Grammy and Granpa!

This weekend we had cousins day. It was kind of a dreary day, but we had fun going to the park and hanging out. The kids had so much fun together!
Charlotte continues to love dress up. She found these shoes in the back of my closet under a bag in a box, she walks better in them than I do!
