Double Digits 10!!!

Dear Charlotte,

Wow, double digits!  CRAZINESS!  DOES NOT SEEM POSSIBLE!  10 years ago our lives changed in the most amazing way.  You continue to be our more serious girl, honest, sincere and extremely aware of others feelings.  You never want anyone to be left out.  You love soccer, basketball, gymnastics and skiing.  You tried lacrosse last spring and were not a fan.  You also tried cheerleading this fall and much to our delight you DID NOT LIKE IT.  You still know what you like and what you don't and you never ever let anyone persuade you otherwise!  I hope you continue to follow your heart with knowing what you like.  And never letting anyone talk you into doing something you don't want to.
You are so honest and such a rule follower.  You love your sister and still get along well but I can see the sisterly annoyance starting.  You have amazing friends. Your posse is still so strong Gabby, Maeve, Liam, Kate, Emma, Aislin and then you have Ruby, Gia, Emily, Michaela and Maya who you like to hang out with the most.
You like school and are happy to go everyday. You are on the ball and do your homework everyday without me having to remind you.  You still absolutely love to read.  You can't get enough!

You are starting the preteen years for sure.  Your moods are up and down and you definitely are more emotional.  I anticipate some rockier years ahead!  Right now I love that you still come home from school running in excited to see me and tell me about your day.  I still love that you lay in bed with me and read every night and that you let Mommy and Daddy tuck you in each night.  I get sad thinking that those days will be coming to an end.

Charlotte stay true to yourself, continue to be happy, strong and kind.  You are so loved.

Birthday sleepover with besties!

Okemo!

Year 4 of our Okemo ski tradition with the Bridges.  Great conditions and the weather was mostly great!  Friday was a little cold, and Sat was windy but other than that the weather was perfect.
Kids had a fabulous time as always, skiing, swimming, waffle cabin, terrain park and just hanging with their friends!

Bretton Woods!

Had an amazing ski weekend with the whole crew!   We rented a huge house that fit us all and the kids had a basement with games and toys so they were thrilled!  The weather was cold, so we went to the mt. washington hotel on sat to explore, but we skied all day sunday and monday.  The conditions were fantastic and all the kids did great!  So much fun!!
Already booked for next year!

Christmas 2017!!

Another awesome Christmas with all the family!!  Such a great time.  Annual tradition of the Whites Hill crew (Bennetts and Cordeiro's) coming over for dessert and dance party/games!!

EIGHT!!!

Dear Catherine Gracie,

Eight!!!  Every year I say the same thing, how can it be.  How are you 8?  What a great year you had. First year at a new school and you did amazing and loved it.  You made some awesome new friends!!!   Irish step is your thing and you absolutely love it!  You moved up to Novice and couldn't be happier!  You are loving second grade,  You continue to sew and can't wait to start making your first communion dress the first of the year.  
Catherine you are way beyond your years.  You want to be grown up too quickly.  You love makeup, clothes and anything Aislin does or has.  Aislin is still the Taylor Swift of Whites Hill, you all adore her.  You are becoming way more sassy and love being the center of attention.  You are smart, artistic, independent, kind, outgoing and very strong willed!  Continue to be the confident girl you are with a big heart and love of life.
