Apple Picking!!

We went apple picking today, my absolute favorite fall activity.  The girls are super into it as well.  It was our third year going to Smolak Farms and the first year we didn't have to carry Catherine all around the orchard.  They loved picking the apples and were so excited to go on the hayride.  We picked out pumpkins to carve and saw the animals.  Of course we had to finish the day with some delicious cider donuts!   Tomorrow Charlotte can't wait to make an apple pie like in her favorite book Amelia Bedelia!  Lots of cooking and baking tomorrow!

Storyland!

We went to Storyland this past weekend.  Some people like to refer to it as the Disneyworld for city kids!
haha!    We rented a house and had a really great weekend.  The kids were just beyond thrilled to be spending 2 nights with their best friends, but also to go to Storyland.  SO happy!  It was a really memorable weekend and they all did great.  No fighting and everyone got along really well.   We are ready for our trip to Disney!
